    GTO LS1 into OBS

    What oil pan is everyone using on their LS motors in the OBS trucks?

    I believe your pan will be fine.....Im sure someone else will chime in here.

    I use the fbody setup, a lot more clearance.

    GTO is a front sump, thats why I ask. I did read here that the fbody pan worked also, just covering some things that weren't mentioned in the conversion sticky.

    if you get rid of that gto pan let me no i need one for my s13
    04 1500 5.3L custom hp tuners tune by myself don have a pic of it yet so hear is my old 01 chevy 5.3 460hp 13.669 @ 116

    Mine is the CTS-V pan and it works perfect.

    I've used the fbody and silverado pans on my 92 and 93 C1500 trucks. The Silverado pan hangs a bit low if you have a bagged truck.

    I really don't think the GTO pan will work, the Fbody pan works awesome and sits a few inches above the crossmember. The truck pan works too, but hangs about a 1'' below the crossmemeber. I like the extra insurance knowing that its tucked up above the frame rails...

    OMG. $388 for fbody pan windage tray dipstick and gasket from GM. Any ideas?
