    Need VIN - Special Suburban

This is for you dealership guys and Gasguzzler.

    I need your help!

I'm trying to locate a VIN for a special suburban. This suburban is an '07 model, nnbs (i hate saying that lol) and is equipped with a 6.0L and 4L80E transmission, yes an 80e trans!
I know it's out there because someone emailed me stating this Suburban exists and he's done an 80e swap in his nnbs truck.

The reason why it's so hard for me to find is, first I dont' have the GM connection like the dealership, second, almost 99% of the nnbs Suburbans came with a 6speed auto , 6L85e.
That 6speed has an integrated trans controller (inside the trans) and the 80e, has one like the 65e/70e does, mounted on the back of the ECM in the nnbs trucks.
This special Suburban has a 6L and 80e and has two modules like your 1/2 ton 5.3L/65e does, so that means I can flash a set of modules and perform a 80e swap on this 1/2 ton truck.

    Anyone have this vin?

    thanks,

So The 2008 silverado has a hard time doing an 80e swap?
I have been thinking of upgrading trucks before I buy a forged motor and 4l80 trans. I might need to just go with old faithful. Not to mention my tech would tell me to go jump in a lake and go to work for someone else.
99RCSB Broke because I wasted thousands and thousands of dollars on my truck.

I have yet to see a 2500 Suburban in the GMT900 body since they came out three years ago. In fact, you ALLEN NELSON posted a dyno session with one you did mods and tune on. Look here for that VIN or in your files at the shop

Or you could do like others here and hope you get one from eBay. What I can do is run VIN's to see what option content they have.

Looks like the VIN Greg found and Jeff posted is a 2500 with a 4-speed Hydramatic...

That sub. was a 6speed auto as well, with a 6L.

    6L LY6, 6speed auto.

I wish the vin told me what trans they had just by looking at the vin.
