Last night at midnight I'm sitting at the house with my girl when I have the sudden urge to vommit. I have tested positive for H.Pylori (stomach bacteria) so I have random stomach flare ups from time to time and theres nothing I can do until the antibiotics take care of them. It turns from nonstop vommitting to severe stomach cramps in a matter of thirty minutes. My grandmother is a nurse, so I woke up her and took some Levsin she had laying around to settle it. 30 minutes later I'm puking my guts up again, shaking from the pain. It felt like someone stabbing me all around my stomach and back. I checked into the ER at 5:00am. After Zofran, Demoral, Protonix, and more Demoral, I fell asleep. They admitted me and did a stomach scope at around 11:30. Come to find out, I have a severe Haital Hernia. The doctor said it was the biggest one he's ever seen and that it was impressive for my age. So basically, this is what it's looking like down there.
They said I need to have it checked every year or two and that I'll be on Carafate or Nexium for life. If it isn't fixed in the next few years, there is a very good chance that I will develope esaphageal cancer. They also found out that I've got peptic ulcer disease. Great.
I'm 19 years old, I have peptic ulcer disease and a hiatal hernia. I have high blood pressure and I eat raisin bran. GDI I'm turning into an old man.
