Almost ready to do my swap

I'm about ready to do my 5.3 swap but have a few questions. Does anybody make a wiring harness to change your throttle body from DBW to DBC? Also can anybody tell me if I am missing anything, I have a complete 5.3 with all the accesories, the fuel line fittings in the swap post, and a tuned Pcm from Nelson. I am trying to change over to DBC so if anybody has any advice that would be great.

What are you putting the 5.3 into? A complete 2002 and earlier harness would be nice, along with intake and throttle body.

    It's going into a 2001 sierra with the v6 and 5 speed

I almost forgot, the engine is out of an 03 silverado

Why not keep the DBW? Any particular reason you want DBC?

I want to do dbc because i have the v6 which is already dbc. it just seems like it might be easier.

You may run into some wiring problems( if your using the 03 harness and computer). I believe for a direct replacement, you will need a harness and computer from a 2001 V8. I know there are slight variations in the pin outs from year to year.

but if your good with schematics and wiring, all will be good.

I believe the computer will have to be re flashed if you already have a tuned pcm for a 03 but I could be wrong.

I'm sure Nelsons has some setup for you. I picked up my CPU from them.

My biggest concern is changing over the wiring harness to work with the dbc

can someone tell me where i wire in the idle air control valve and throttle positioning sensor for the dbc throttle body? can i wire it to the harness or does it have to be wired to the pcm?
