    2003 NBS V6 V8 Swap

I was just wondering what everybody did to make the engine wiring harness work with the under hood fuse junction box?

I have an 99-00 harness and the C2, C152 and C100 connectors are pinned totally different?

Have a look at lt1swap . com under wiring harness info

you swapping a lt1 to lsx, dont understand your swap, explain alittle, you might get more hits, theres also a section called how toos pretty much explains hoe to swap lsx engines

I am not swapping a lt1. lt1swap . com just has the ecm pinouts for 99-06 vortec lsx motors.

    I am swapping a 2003 4.3l to a 6.0l lq9 using a 99-00 wiring harness and a 0411 pcm.

It was my understanding that a 99-02 harness would be a direct replacement?

But if you look at the ecm harness pinouts from 99-02 none of them match the 2003 C2 under hood fuse box connection.

Has anyone done a V6 to V8 swap in a 2003 or newer truck?

What are my options for a PNP harness?

I dont think the harness connecting to the fusebox is going to be the same. I know when I did my 2000 4.3 to 2001 5.3 it was a direct swap..

Well I found the pinouts for a 2001 pcm so I guess i will be tracing back and repining C100 C152 C2

Or, I found a 2003 harness and I was wondering what componets does the DBW setup consist of?

    1. I know I will need the peddle

    2. I have heard something about a TAC module (what does it look like and where on the vehicle is it located?)

    3. Any thing else needed for a DBW setup?

What would be involved in converting to DBW in a 03 truck?

Im pretty sure you dont need to convert to DBW in your 03. Unless it was the earlier 03's and they might have used a cable setup

So do you think a DBW conversion is going to be my best option?

What does the DBW harness consist of?

Does it run through the under hood fuse box? (I know the ECM harness has the wiring for the Electronic TB, I am wondering about the harness from the tac to the pedal)

Can a 2001 0411 PCM be flashed to work with DBW?
