Where's my PCV valve?

Okay, I hate to sound like a complete idiot but where is my PCV valve? I can find it on my other rides but this is the first Chevy pick-up I've owned. I looked under the hood yesterday and with all the stuff in the way I can't find it. It's a 2000 Tahoe, 5.3.

I thought it was in the driver's side valve cover, at the back? The passenger valve cover doesn't have any kind of check valve that I'm aware of.

But it's still on a valve cover, that gets me looking in the right place. My Bonneville has it underneath the intake manifold, needless to say I don't worry about that one.

I'm not seeing anything like I'm used to seeing when I look for a pcv valve. On the very back end of the drivers side valve cover there is a larger hose that comes up and goes forward the lenght of the valve cover and it looks like it Tee's off at each cylinder. Is that it? Like I said, I hate to look stupid but this engine is new to me.

Sounds like your describing the wiring harness, it does that.

Sorry, my bad, noob here. I wasn't looking close enough. I was looking at two different hoses and thought they were one. The hose I drew the red line through is the one I'm wondering about, it feels padded.

Gotta run and mow a lawn of there'll be hell to pay with the missus. I'll check back later.

Check valve should be attached to the hose, pressed into the hole at the back of the valve cover.

Thats what mine looked like before I pulled that valve cover and chunked the pvc.
