We (Ricky, Jon, and myself) were in Mexico tonight for a little car get together. I was set on running a vette 2nite, so after 1 "No", found another vette to run. I said lets run for $100 from a dig to 100mph, he wasn't sure cause he didn't know what I had done...Come on it's 4750lbs SUV, so I say ok, just for fun then. I tell him exactly what I have done, then he tells us he has a 402 stroker motor. Oh sh1t right!? So we run, I spun a little from stalling to 1200, still put a car length on him and then he starts gaining but misses 3rd gear...Over at this point. Run him again, this time I warm the tires up good. His buddy in a NIIICE Viper trails behind us this time. I dead hook this time! He's two cars back by 50ish, then starts coming up quick and at about 110mph he's at my back tire and we both shut it down. Jon, Ricky; thanks for hanging out at the finish line...Down in Mexico. We all got back to the parking lot, the guy was really cool, said "man that thing runs and you will be winning alot of money with that thing". But, I noticed he didn't really want to talk about it; he made no excuses either.
