    not happy with my truck

ok, i don't know what i'm doing wrong, but my truck just doesn't feel fast to me. i mean its quick but not compared to what i have in it. so whats wrong? is it the injectors. i just switched to the 28's from the stock 21's. but that's probably not enough still. i just got a set of 42's. but now i have to call allen again when i just got a tune for the 28's. i don't want to piss him off. it seems like i'm getting a new tune every couple weeks. but with the higher rev limit i know it will hit a little over 10 psi. i haven't run to the limit yet but i let out at 5500 and it was at 9psi and the limit is 6500 now. so i may see 11. and 28's wont be enough for that. could this be the whole issue as to why my nearly stock TBSS will annihilate my silvy with the ton of mods it has. okay guys let me have it. why is my truck so low with almost 10k in mods. you wont hurt my feelings.

The 42#rs will help I am sure. TBSS is prolly a good bit lighter and more Aerodynamic than a Large Truck.

You were running boosted with 21# injectors?

Yeah, 42s are better for sure. I sure would never exceed 15 psi with 42s and normal fuel pressure.

With 10 PSI on a 5.3L engine I would expect about 375 HP to the ground.

Because you are running a small stall for the weight of your truck. your power adder gives you peaky high end hp instead of down low where you need it to get your heavy truck moving. You swapped to 853 heads which didnt really do much at all for your, you need bigger injctors to spin it up higher.

Like I said before, put the larger injectors in. I think you also need a live tune.

Cody is right too, Procharger doesn't come on till 3,000+ RPM

You not only need, but you must have bigger injectors. Also, you need more stall. What made you use the 853 heads? A great swap for FI on a budget is the #317's.

the 853's were cheap, i was just gonna get another set of stock heads because i wrung off alot of header bolts and was leaking bad, but the 853's were available and would lower my cr a little. and have a little bigger intake valves.

The best logger you can buy for yourself is HPTUNERS! Buy it since you have so many GM vehicles and you can use it on them all.
