Its an 01 Chevy Camaro coupe V6 fully loaded with leather!

Bought it 2 days ago....Its got 70k on it..So Im gonna enjoy it for the time being and do little stuff to it like the tune and K&N...Then once it hits 100k Ill throw either a 408 or LSjuan in it

Heres the pics at the dealer..

I don't like the tailpipes the dude had on it so Ill put some new ones on...Its got the Flowmaster 80 series on it the cross flow application..

    http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.jsp?car_...&cardist=98

I bargained the dude down to 6 Grand I dunno how...

It looks better in person haha..

But damn it gets on it for a V6...I beat a stock 4.8 today...So thats a good start :p

Any Ideas for body work or looks for the time being guys?

    SS hood? SS Spoiler?

nice looking car. go 408 because if you go LS1 then you should have just bought the ls1 to begin with. I say that now, and im putting a 5.3 in my truck soon...

do the ss spoiler with those small black stripes that come on that color on the SS from the factory. then lower it, and powdercoat the vette Z06 wheels black.

I dunno lots to do, but go ahead and get off the board since your going the sports car route now....

If you want to go V8 sell the V6 car and buy a V8 car. It's a lot simpler.

I think your gonna have a lot of fun with that car, especially once you do the swap. I had a Z28 w/6spd, I wish I still had it but sold it so I could haul my fourwheeler. I was still in college at the time so I couldnt afford the car and truck, I love the F-body's. Good luck!

im with red on this one a v6 to v8 swap is a lot more complicated than a v8 to v8 swap and for all the trouble and extra costs u could prob buy an ls1 fbody with 100k for the same price. im kinda wishing still id have bought a v8 truck then did the 6.0 swap.

    Yea probably 408.....

Im never getting off the boards haha..I still have my truck...and I will do stuff to the GMC next year haha.....

This is just a seperate play toy...

The reason I got the V6 was because I wanted to learn swapping and everything about the motors......Plus it had 70k miles on it and I wanted to enjoy it for a while till about 100k

The cheapest car I could find with the LS1 anywhere was a 98 Firebird Formula and it was 10G with 100k miles and it was in Oklahoma...This car was in houston and an easy drive too haha.....

I looked everywhere like in autotrader, internet, ls1tech..I spent like a week looking haha...

I'd drive it 30K and look again for a V8 when you've got money for the swap. About a year from now the new Camaro should be out and the current Camaro market will crash.

Yeah, I'd say SS hood, SS spoiler, billet grille down low, take off license plate, debadge, paint the b pillar and roof black, drop, Z06 wheels (knock-offs are pretty cheap), and get rid of those cheesy exhaust tips--they look like broke-ass Borla wannabees. But other than that, do not try and mod that thing. Spend the money on the truck!

How about this look. Don't buy anything but a GM SS hood the rest fit like shit. The spoiler is the same situation. I would put wheels on it do the SLP grille and some 7x11 ZR1's with a 315 rear tire. This is a pic of my old camaro

oh by the way LS1 M6 hard top with all the power options had 59,000 on it and paid 7900.00 for it.
