ok i have a dual fan spal setup that i would like to mount to my radiator once i get my new fan harness and tune worked out......

but i have the old clutch fan on there now... and the fans did not come with any mounting hardware... i bought a set of mounts and when i said they were going on a dual setup the guy told me that most people with dual fans fabricate their own mounts...

so my question is... how the hell do you do it?!?!

any pictures and or instructions would be wonderful

Piece o' cake man. The bottom of the fan 'frame' will just sit in a channel. For the top, fab two pieces of flat stock aluminum or similar. Use the stock bolt holes.

    NICE!!!!!!! thanks Moze

seems pretty mickey mouse enough to do for me.... now i have something to do tonight when i get home.... hmm or maybe i should do this while im "working" today :laugh

hmm now that i look at mine it will take a bit more "fabricating on mine....

i dont have an much "solid" area on mine that i could bolt to..... ill take a pic and upload it to show you what i mean

ok here is a pic of what i am working with..... where my hand is pushing through... that area is all rubber flaps that let air flow through.... so mounting like your will be a difficult situation.... ill have to figure something out

No problem. What year is your truck? Not sure if it will drop in same as mine did or not. It's a cake install.

Oh, and if need be - zip ties are your friend.

Nice - what are they out of?

    mine is an 02....

it should fit in similar to yours... the only kink in the plan would be the spot to place a bolt in the fan itself similar to yours.... theres not much room....

I bet you could get a bolt through the wider vertical plastic piece under your thumb.

yeah that might work... its only about 3/4 inch wide... my concearn is i really dont want to bolt to a weak point on teh fans and snap it from vibration down teh road.....

THAT is where zip ties win

ill just have to do some trial and error tonight before i head down south

I'm trying to think - I may have some flat stock at home, can't remember though. Give me a shout if ya need any parts. I know I have some aluminum angle (1"x1" and maybe some 1½"x1½").
