as for gauging, if you plan on using the OE JEEP cluster, youll have
to use the OE sending unit for that specific gauge. the resistance in
the sending unit is matched to that gauge. you might be lucky to

your JEEP cluster uses what for a speedo? cable? electronic? Electronic
your tach was a 4cyl or 6cyl OE? 4 cyl
you might be able to use a tach adapter to change voltage and
resolution for the genIII.
there is an oil tap at the filter/oil pan line. as for coolant the
passenger side cylinder head has a plug, but the thread adapter may not
allow the sending unit to "submerge" to sense correctly.

So what if i replace the guages with Autometer electronic gauges...can i get them that will work with the current Chevy sensors? like a direct line hookup, (ie. from wire off of temp sensor to wire on guage)
