new from florida with 99 tahoe

im kind of just getting started on playing with my tahoe i now have my cowl hood and a set of 17 inch 06 silverado wheel tire combo so far but now i want to up my power a little,some suggestions would be great.

Supercharger, turbo, nitrous... pick your poison. You could do a cold air intake, free flowing exhaust with long tube headers and a tune for starters. Don't do headers if you want a turbo later.

i was trying to look for a couple of hundred dollars at a time instead of thousands, for now anyways,what if i used direct replacement shorty headers, how much would that help?

Shorty headers help out a little, but not as much as long tubes. I have Gibson shorty headers and I like them, but I am sure that LT&#39;s are in my near future... LT&#39;s give better flow, better sound, bragging rights, etc...

WITH THE LONG TUBES IM WORRIED ABOUT 02 SENSORS AND SES LIGHTS, ALSO THE converter y pipe,i bought a chip off ebay for 10 dollars that supposedly ups hp about 15-20 and all the feedbacks say noticable difference of great cheap upgrade,this is a resistor i guess havent got it yet, i think you put it on the air intake sensor or something,ill find out when i get it,but im leary about using it being so cheap,but curious.anybody know how much one of the air intake setups would help that take place of the air cleaner housing?
