I'd say there isn't an easy way. It's all going to hurt!
Get you a socket and cheater bar on the crank pulley and tighten the hell out of it. If it won't move try loosening. If it won't move at all you either broke a rod and embedded it in the crank or you spun the mains and locked it up tight. Since it's locked up you'll have to pull the convertor out with the engine, you won't be able to get to the bolts to remove it. Remove the engine and transmission as an entire assembly. That is going to be your only option and believe me, it's easier than trying to seperate the two while they're in the truck.
