Goin to pickup a 2004 GTO M12 T56 tomorrow morning from a local salvage yard. 11k miles, 6 month warranty, no core charge, and they have a carfax report on the GTO as well. Also was told that they do not cut the wiring harness, so maybe I can get one from them as well. Will post pics, hopefully over the weekend.

Thanx for all the info. The speartech harness is expensive, sure looks good though.

I called Nelson Performance on Friday. I asked them if their harness had a fly-by-wire option, and also about the LS2 injectors that are on the L76 intake . They told me that they don't have a fly-by-wire harness, nor the LS2 injector connectors.
    Thanx for the heads up!

Just a small update on progress...

The transmission and seats are from an 04 GTO, 11k miles, also from salvage yard! 6 month warranty and no core charge $1,500, and got the seats for $400!! I also got the shifter knob, flywheel, clutch and pressure plate at no additional charge. The vehicle was hit hard enough on the right front corner, to bent / twist the passenger floor pan / seat track. Since I work in a shop and have access to shop press, it is now straight again. Saving me $675 for a new seat track.

The engine is going to be stock short block, with heads, cam, and intake.
I do have a question. Since I'm running the L76 intake which has the LS2 90mm throttle body. Do I have to run a LS2 computer, wiring harness, throttle pedal, and TAC module to be compatible with it? OR will another computer setup work? I know most likely the crankshaft reluctor wheel, and position sensor will have to be swapped. I also know that the LS2 has the cam and crank sensors at the front of the engine, and knock sensors on the side of the block. Lengthening and shortening of the harness is no problem. If I end up using the LS2 harness is this going to effect connector compatibility with coil harness, MAF sensor, alternator, ect....

    Thanx in advance,
    Chris

I think S&P sells harnesses now too, and they sell them for drive by wire also.

Yeah, they sell every thing you'd need to do a conversion. You just need very deep pockets to hold all the money you'd have to send them to buy their harness. They are right proud of their parts and you have to pay dearly to get parts out of their warehouse.
