I'll take the rain over the heat. At least it cools things down. Then again, 12 muddy paws is a pain to clean off and my lawn is growing like crazy but can't hardly find time to mow between the downpours.
We have the same problem with 12 muddy paws but they go straight to the tub for a rinse when they come in every time they're muddy. If just wet, they get towel dried. I've got to put weed killer down and can't because it keeps getting washed away.
