My 5.3 is knocking. Need to do a swap. What all is needed to drop in an LS1 out of a camaro. Can get one for a good price but will I need to modify any thing else to make it work right? Already got an 02 computer will I need to use the camaro ECU or can allen tune mine to work?

Allen can tune it. He's got to adjust a few things in your stock 5.3 tune to compensate for the larger engine but it's going to work fine. Do it!

Today I decided to pull the valve cover to inspect it. Turned out to just be a broken intake valve spring. Got a set on order. I feel like a jack arse
