also ur connections are different for the 99 and 01+ so ur kind of stuck unless u switch harnesses. im glad i have an 01 motor!

The harness is different between the 99-2000 and 2001-2002? That's a first that I've heard that. What is different? I know the PCM has a faster processor in the newer version but the connections to the PCM are the same.

I say 45 to 50 hp at the crank, and I also swapped out my pcm to an 02. Its just plug and play and paid $50 bucks at a junkyard fot it
