Does anyone know the specs of a stock fuel pump on a 2001 4.8 and on the 8.1's, Im thinking of buying the 8.1 fuel pump if its bigger and its stock injectors at the local parts store.

Get a nice walbro 255 intank pump and you won't have to worry about fuel issues for a while.
just my opinion.
As far as I know, the stock pump in the 8.1L is the exact same thing, when we replace them, they look identical, but that could only be externally.
let me know i can get you one,
allen

Yeah, I probably will go with the walbro, its only $132 at texas speed. Besides I looked up the two pumps at autozone.com and the 4.8 and 8.1 use the same one. What about using the stock injectors from an 8.1? I dont know what my stock ones are.

Get the 42's. You don't want to worry if you've got enough and the 42's would do well.![]()

No fuel rails needed for that setup, I believe the powerdyne won't over power the stock fuel lines and setup, just the injectors and pump.Just go ahead and grab the 42lb. injectors and Walbro from Allen.
