Puttin an '04 Throttle by Wire 5.3 into my '01 Throttle by Cable 4.3.

I purchased a 5.3 cable driven throttle body thinking I could just hook the cable up and not hook up the TBW connectors that are on the '04 harness. Here is my problem. The TBW connector is 1 connector and this cable driven TB has 2 totally different connectors (1 for IAC and 1 for TPS). Now realizing that I'm an idiot....

CAN I MAKE A SEPERATE HARNESS from the cable driven throttle body (IAC and TPS) to the '04 PCM and just repin it according to an '01 5.3 PCM wiring diagram? Cross my fingers and hope it works? Is this even possible without having to find either a TBC harness and PCM OR a TAC module and pedal?

p.s. sorry if i'm not making damn bit of sense...

Yeah, the main difference between the two is the fact that you need an Idle Air Control valve and Throttle Position Sensor when going by cable. You'll also need a cruise control module with cable to use cruise control. The Drive By Wire model will handle cracking the throttle open at startup and idle and the throttle position sensor is in the cab of the truck mounted to the throttle pedal(a cool design). Also, DBW will handle the cruise control functions for you when wired up correctly(never even thought about how to wire that up in a conversion).

Thank Red. The guy that sold me the motor said he has the TAC module and pedal that came out of the same truck. Guess I will just go that route as it sounds easier.
