If you can get 19,500 for trade at a dealership without them working negative equity back into your next loan you're a miracle worker. The dealership is there to make money and they will do it on your truck buying it and then selling it, making profit both directions. You never come out ahead doing a dealer trade-in unless something is effed up bad in the truck and you're trading it in. Dealers rarely ever even look at a vehicle when trading, they just dig out the black book list and offer you what's there and sometimes they'll even take the $500-$1000 the dealership owner gets off the top on your trade.
