We all know the reason for celebrating this day!

Those who have fought the fight, and are still fighting the fight for our freedom... America salutes thee! Thanks to our armed forces!

    Now... on to some grubbin'!

Mom & Dad bought their eldest child (and only son) a new BBQ pit 8 days before his b-day!

    Had to light 'er up!

I'm just lovin' the "special" BL holder. :lol :cheers

Looks tasty. I like the BL holder, also. That's a true man's BBQ grill when it comes equipped with a beer holding slot and it can hold more than one!

We just should have hosed off the meat...a little charcoal won't hurt anybody... I bet Danny was pissed--I saw him eyeing the sausages pretty hard...

Austin is REALLY nice city to live in (at least it was when I lived there in '99). I lived in the Quail Ridge Apts (North Austin, off Wells Branch) just minutes South of RR & Pflugerville. That area was real nice... along with the area West of the city (the 'burbs) where family friends housed me in their home for 3 weeks when I moved there. Talk about hilly areas. I used to ride an early 90s model Ninja (600) down to the "river". With all the "S" curves on at least a 30* slope with no rear brake linkage, it made for some gutsy riding (to say the least). Wonder why the wifey won't lemme buy a new one (had to leave that one in TX).

I hate where I live in Austin, and I hate the traffic. But other than that some parts of Austin are really nice. I like the Westlake area, and some other areas on the west side.
