    What v8 swap I can do with a budget of $5000 once again my truck is a v6!

    Are you doing the work? BTW, your profile says you have a 4.8L which is a V8.

    my shop does the 6.0 with a 4l80e for 4000. then you still have a lil for the a/c and to play with....

    Lol that was before my parents got me the truck, I thought they had a 4.8 in it because it said it on the car dealership site..... oped the hood the first time and WHHOOOOPPPSSS there it was v6 (boy I was pissed) I told my parents about it, and they asked me "why you want a v8"??? I didnt want to reply to go fast because they would of assumed alot of things... they said if I can get the money I can do a swap...

    You guys probly arent familiar with the truck (gonzales, louisiana area), but theres a 6.0 yellow sportside that I rode in the other day, and that thing is baaaaddddd&#33;&#33;&#33;&#33;&#33;&#33;&#33;

    Sounds like Cody&#39;s truck. A lot of work (and money) went into that truck. Plus he works for TnT Performance. Shop access and dyno time is nice.

    From what I understand they supply the engine, transmission, wiring and pcm programming. It&#39;s a turn-key installation. You drop your vehicle off, they convert it, you pay the &#036;4000 and drive away.
