    well took the new converter to the track last night and it worked great to bad the motor couldn't keepup ahahhaa 5th pass around the 330' mark it let go and still ran a 13.6 at 79mph ahahaaaha

    has nothing to do with running 12&#39;s, its about parts breaking down, after 500 or so passes at the track and 7k rpms shifts, 75k miles and 7k shifts something has to give.

    Next will be another 5.3.

    I know what you mean. I work on mine all the time knowing that I am going to break something. It&#39;s like losing the transmission at only 10k miles. When you&#39;re hammering on them all the time you&#39;re going to wear something out eventually. Those 5.3s are getting to be legendary. You and Bluecajun have some fast trucks for a fullsize and 5.3. You&#39;re putting the hurt on guys running 6.0s and larger. There&#39;s something to be said about a truck that will hook up to the track&#33;

    That&#39;s kind of what I meant...running 12 and the abuse that comes with it as opposed to someone who doesn&#39;t run or doesn&#39;t run as hard or as fast.

    Anyway, it&#39;s sad to see one of the fastest N/A 5.3&#39;s pass. Hope the next one runs as good...
