Just wanted to know if anyone has any V8 frame pads for a 1992 C1500. My truck is a V6 and need the V8 frame pads. OR does anyone know where to buy them? part numbers from GM?
Looking for a cross member for my 4l80e. my truck is 2wd and has a NV3500 right now. Anyone know what i can use or buy one?
Frame pads? All they are is V8 motor mounts, they bolt directly to the frame on a C1500 2wd. As for crossmembers, you should be able to use what you have or hit a bone yard for an 80e crossmember out of a 3/4 or 1 ton.
My 92 had the V6 w/5 speed and I used the stock crossmember w/the 4L60e. Good thing about going w/the 80e is that the stock 5 speed driveshaft should slip right into the 80e transmission, same slip yoke if you have the splined model transmission.

Only thing i can find on summitracing.com is the motor mount insert. Is this a part i should hit up GM for?
I will look for the crossmember, just wasn't sure that a 3/4 or 1ton cross member would work. and yes i do have the spline trans.
I bought mine from NAPA so long ago. I'm sure you can get them anywhere that sells auto parts.
