    I have an opportunity to buy a 6.0LQ4 and tranny combo...complete from a 2500HD...$400...the catch...they came from flooded trucks and the seller doesnt know the working conditions.........its not like id pulling mind and bolting it right back in.....it would get tore down and cleaned..yadda yadda...probly wind up being a 370...408...whatever.......worth it??

    DONT THINK, JUST BUY IT. THE CORE ON THE TRANS IS THAT MUCH. 4 L 80 E. YOU CAN ALWAYS REBUILD THAT MOTOR AND MAKE SOME GOOD HP. STOCK WITH THE L92 HEADS AND A COMP CAM CAN MAKE 550HP.

    TELL ME IF YOU DON'T BUY IT. I WILL BUY IT FOR A PROJECT CAR/TRUCK.

    i would get it, if ur doing a complete rebuild it wont matter.
    2006 ecsb silverado, AFE Cai, Jet Maf, Pacesetter Ceramic Coated Lt's, true duals with Dynomax Bullets, cats and o2's....still emissions legal!
