Yea man it will be a direct swap..if would be easy if you could find a PCM from the same guy he sells em for 50&#036;...he might even have the one that came with the truck you could use it because it would already have toe 5.3 settings...or just get allen to send you one and send yours back during the swap...

You could easily sell you 4.8 for what your getting for the 5.3

Dude you need to read up some more.

If you&#39;re wanting more power out a 4.8 just swap a cam in. The only difference "ONLY" in a 4.8 to a 5.3 is the crank and the connecting rods, and that&#39;s it. Getting a tune for 93 opens up more power also.

You can get a crank from a 5.3, 6.0 or a 5.7. They&#39;re all the same, same stroke, same bolts, same every thing.

If you&#39;re going to do an engine swap, don&#39;t bother with a 5.3, just do a 6.0.
