    Thanks Red, everyone likes to unlock and lock their converter, but really no one knows why, lol.

    Here&#39;s my opinion, which may or may not be correct.

    Unlocking a naturally aspirated converter is the way to go, you get increased shift extensions and it doesn&#39;t bog the engine down. Try drag racing an HD truck, I get complaints all the time about how the converter slows them down before a tune. The truck just dies 2/3 way down the track.
    Same goes for all the other NA trucks, we&#39;ve proven it time and time again.
    Same goes for a procharger, vortec, powerdyne, any centrifigul charger.
    Same goes for a radix, whipple and KB.
    All these setups, aren&#39;t directly related to loading the vehicle to produce boost.

    Now for a turbo, some trucks like the added load of a converter locking because it "weighs" the truck down and loads the turbo better.

    So, if you still want your converter locked we can, but I don&#39;t suggest it. Also, I don&#39;t suggest a 3000rpms stall converter with a radix, it just doesn&#39;t need it. Remember, a converter is used to multiply torque and get your engine into it&#39;s power band quicker, the Radix is in it&#39;s power band immediately. Just my opinion.

    so is mine locked or unlocked in 3rd gear @wot

    im wondering if pushing the tow and haul button would help, cuz whenever i push this button i get about 1000rpms more,

    if it&#39;s unlocked then, why do i lose power from lowmid range up until topend,

    is there something that can be tweaked from the tune to be adjusted so the stall can work with my setup

    well id go with allen also, cuz he does know

    well chet i might just be selling the damn converter, cuz it&#39;s proven that it&#39;s not working with my truck, just put the stock one back one , with some longtubes,cam, bigger injectors,

    well just got back from the track again today, but was using 26x10.5x15 et drags and sorry to say that i first pass i tried tapping the brakes to see if i&#39;ll unlock and nothing ran a 14.04@96, 60ft@194, second pass hell the same damn time except tow and hual bottom engaged and nothing some chet a 14.01@96, with a 60ft@194, then i just cuz i had the tb bypass, well put it back on and third pass ran a 13.88@97 with a 60ft@1.97. this times for me personnally embarrassing to me especially have the charger. so all allen i would like to have my truck back to the first tune i had, without sdtune please if you have it save on your laptop, can u email me so i can pay for the shipping charge, or when i was running the 13lbs of boost do u have this tune also save, if so, i know it&#39;s alot of heat, but i was thinking when i had the tbstall and the 13lb&#39;s of boost best run was a 13.56@98mph, so if i didnt have the tbstall and had put the stock stall back on, i&#39;d probably would have seen high 12&#39;s,, or just put the first tune before sdtune, cuz i wanna tune with file from here, just cuz he&#39;s closer, and cuz i have no time to go down there, it&#39;s just easier on me, this would be really appriciated, thanx
