Here's my opinion, which may or may not be correct.
Unlocking a naturally aspirated converter is the way to go, you get increased shift extensions and it doesn't bog the engine down. Try drag racing an HD truck, I get complaints all the time about how the converter slows them down before a tune. The truck just dies 2/3 way down the track.
Same goes for all the other NA trucks, we've proven it time and time again.
Same goes for a procharger, vortec, powerdyne, any centrifigul charger.
Same goes for a radix, whipple and KB.
All these setups, aren't directly related to loading the vehicle to produce boost.
Now for a turbo, some trucks like the added load of a converter locking because it "weighs" the truck down and loads the turbo better.
So, if you still want your converter locked we can, but I don't suggest it. Also, I don't suggest a 3000rpms stall converter with a radix, it just doesn't need it. Remember, a converter is used to multiply torque and get your engine into it's power band quicker, the Radix is in it's power band immediately. Just my opinion.
