GM makes longer bolts and a crankshaft spacer or you can buy a Hughes convertor extension. I wished I knew that on my first conversion because I spent $300 buying parts to convert the OBS transmission over to the NBS.

thats what I am trying to avoid, either getting a trans that I wont be able to use, or one that will cost too much to convert to work with my 6.0L
finding a trans has been harder than I thought.
