Last night was my first time to play with a new tricked out cobra. He came up next to me at the light and he had a friend in the car with him. I new what was fixing to happen as soon as we took a left and headed down the beltway. LOL They slow down for me to get next to them and I get the evil eye. I said let's go and they hit the gas the same time as I did. Little did they know I was going to pull on them and they wouldn't be able to keep up with me. They couldn't believe a 5000# truck was able to take them every time except from a dead stop because I had no traction. The cool thing was they had some respect and told me I had an awsome truck so I replied back saying they had a nice mustang. That was fun because the mustand wasn't stock.

BTW, Here were my 1/8 mile times at HMP last Sunday:

All N/A no nitrous and still burning the tires.
REACTION .6234
60 FT 2.1013
330 FT 5.6052
1/8 ET 8.0021
1/8 MPH 86.17

You do realize that calculates to about 540 HP at the crankshaft?

No, and I don't believe it. LOL There's no way I'm making that much HP. I've got the slip for proof. Hell, maybe they gave me someone elses on accident and put my ID on it. NOT! After all, there were no times shown but mine. Just wait until I add the cutouts and the Radix that Danny's going to get me in the near future. Glad to see you guys!

Greg, I'm at 4950. Every run before and after the 8.0 was 8.5 to 8.6 in the 1/8th. I had to post this because I think something happened with accutime. I'm going to get a set of slicks and do a little bit of tweaking to the rear end and then I"m going to try again. With all of the tire spin and wheel hop my best 1/4 mile run was 13.4 We'll see, I'm going to meet with Kevin as soon as I get the slicks and we'll see what happens then.

I LOVE THE LOOK ON THEIR FACES WHEN A BIG TRUCK PULLS AWAY FROM THEM. THEY LOOK LIKE DEER IN THE HEADLIGHTS.

I'd be proud as hell of those times, 8.5s. My LS1s never went that fast. 8.0s, that's incredible but like the big boys can you back it up within 1%? It may have been a timing issue.
