I'm hoping to be heading to the track this sunday for some test and tune. I'll be running my 98' with the L31 Vortec 5.7 Here is a list of mods and let me gets your guesses on times. I'm trying to see how close my ideas are

Mods:
5.7 L31, ECSB 4wd Z71
gibson headers
off-road y-pipe 3in with no cats and flowmaster 40 series
open element intake
MSD 6-offroad ignition with MSD coil
Tunercat Tune (some basic delete stuff here and there, adjust shift points, a little more timing but it's still only 28deg full adv on a 9.0:1 motor)
stock 4L60E/transfercase
Detroit True-Trac with super axles and 4.56 gears in the rear (will be going 2wd mode until gears are matching again)
Nitrous Express EFI kit, will try out the 100hp and maybe the 150hp pills
aerodynamic tonneau cover (hahahahaha)

It will be an 1/8 mile track. I'm guessing low 9 high 8 second E/T's around 75-80mph

Ah VTEC. All the lag, none of the turbo. It's like waiting for bad sex.

Without the spray, I'd say about 9.7. With it, 8.9. You'll find out for sure come Sunday. I sure hope I'm way off.

Those 4.56s' are gonna help you quite a bit with getting off the line. I'd say low 9's as well.

I'd like you to see numbers lower than that but I doubt it will happen. I've been wrong before, many times.

if u can get a good take off and spraying the 150 shot u might be able to hit 8.50s or a lil better. what would realy help is if u were 2 be taking off in 4x4!!!! and had a nelson tune lol

Only got a few runs in before work with a best of 9.66@74.5 with a 100 shot. That run was after I swapped for a smaller fuel jet. It was breaking up all day running rich, and even on the smaller fuel jet it was a bit rich. Went 10.2@67mph spinning/wheel hopping all motor. The 9.67 was also on a 2.38 60ft time. I was babying it off the line to try and keep traction. Tried launching hard and hitting the kit and the tires went up in smoke. Ohg well, going to get the rich mixture figured out and have a better run next time. I think it has low 9 potential on the 100 shot.

Ya, but it was wheelhopping a bit off the line and the tires went up in smoke on a hard launch and then hittin the kit. My biggest problem is it running rich. Went down to the next smallest fuel jet (from a 31 to a 26) and it gained 3 tenths but still missing. I might try running a 22 fuel jet and the 52 N20 jet and see how that works. Or just put the 150 in 31 Fuel 62 N20 lol.
