Ok guys I have a 3600 vigilante and with such a loose converter it is kinda aggrevating when it is locking and unlocking. I drive alot of country roads and everytime I let off the gas a get back on it even the slightest bit it is unlocked and then locked. Is there any way in the tune to get rid of this problem or am I gonna have to live with it?

It gets pretty sad gas mileage too.....prolly cuz of this!!!

Cool

Yeah, I have a 3800 waiting to go in sometime when I get the chance. Just have it stay locked under normal throttle and just downshift the whole gear but stay locked.

With the stock converter the unlocking at locking wasn't as noticable, but with this one, you'll feel it a lot, especially with that one.
Have you considered a 2600 or 2800 stall converter, the 3600 seems a little loose.

Yes I have, the converter is really loose for my truck, I have a 3200 onits way, I wanted to go smaller but some persuasive minds led me to the 3200.....but if it tightens it up 400 rpm then it will make a huge difference. I am going to do a 410 soon and that should tighten it up a lil. I am thinking that there isnt any way to get that locking and unlocking out of it in the tune so hopefully the tighter converter will make it a lil more tolerable.

thanks allen

Get a free account at photobucket.com and you can resize pics if you need. They make stuff like that alot easier.

if you don't mind, shrink it just a little, it's a little too big.

thanks,
allen
