You might be experienceing what i went through when i had my first Tranny.. The wiring harness inside of my tranny was damaged when i had it rebuilt. AFter that It was no time until i was putting in a 65E because mine was screwed.. Make sure it isn't the harness first and you might save some money and just buy a harness from Allen

After 2 months of screwing with this damn thing, the Sierra is finally whole again, it turned out to be a bad checkball for the 2nd Gear Servo.. Funny thing is , he lost every bit of money he made + some because he went and bought all sorts of parts that it didnt need and the gas to drive out to my place about $20 each trip( he did it 6 times)..

Im glad to finally have my truck back, now I need to go get it tuned soon..

Thats awesome that at least he fixed it right for you even though he lost money. I got burned on one i had a local guy do. he tried 2 times but i had to pull it each time and the longest it worked was 6 days. then he wouldnt even return my calls. i was out $1400 plus my time. it is amazing how people can screw up such a common tranny that has been around in some form or another for like 20 years now!
