A stock bore 6.0L with a 4" stroke makes a 402. Bore it +.030" oversize to 4.03" and you have a 408. You could just start with the stock 6.0L and run it untouched until you're ready to pay for the forged rotating assembly or have learned how to do things with just one arm because the other one goes to Eagle or Callies.
