Duct tape works. Or you could try this. http://forum.ls1truck.com/index.php?showto...;hl=interceptor

Man law, alcohol brought to anothers house becomes property of the home owner. Roadies are okay but the alcohol stays.

Epoxied a thin aluminum plate to the elbow, protected the dash with clear tape and epoxied the underside of the plate to conform to the dash. When set remove clear tape, use double face tape under the epoxy to stick it to the dash. It wedges into the piller but is removable. Spayed it with rubber undercoating for texture and used some gray truck paint that matched good enough.
PS Used the roller end of a belt sander and files to make the top cut out.

ok so ran into a few problems last night (not dealing with the gauge) and i didntget to install the gauge..... i just basically took it out of the box and looked at the instructions....

for those that have the gauge already, there are 2 plugs... one that goes to the obd2 port.. that one is easy enough... but im add/dyslexic at times and when it talks about the smaller plug on the back it has 3 wires... red in teh middle (power) and a green and white one... where do thos run to? it says, and i quote:

"once attached to the gauge, make note which wire is for analog 1 and 2. Youll need to remember this if and when you connect a signal to these wires. These inputs can be used to read the outputs from pressure senders, A/F ratio analog outputs, 2 or 3 bar MAP sensors, or any voltage up to 5v that you want to monitor and record"

ok this being said does this mean there are already sensors that come with th etruck that will read these things OR is that one of the aftermarket sensors that you have to buy from Aeroforce ??

ok and 1 more thing..... where did yall splice/hook into for the power wire?? i was thinking right on the fuse block on the right side of the truck in between the door and dash...

ok thanks in advance guys... looks like today is gonna be a slow and crappy day out here at the airport so i should have plenty of time to install it

DAMN i sound like a nooB in that post ^^^

ok so the hell with it... installed it and its cool as ever!! hopefully i will get my gauge pod sometime soon so that i can permanantly install it... its entirely way to fun to push the buttons and see everything that is going on

only one thing though.... i powered it up and when i played with it for a while, i turned off the truck.. i was holding it in my hand by the bezel and it shocked me... is this a sign that it has a ground problem, or am i just a moron holding a gauge with power to it

hahaha yeah i saw one of those the other day... but i went ahead and bought one off ebay. i found a dual gauge pod brand new for 50 bucks shipped.... so i went ahead and snagged it up

on that single pod, its a good design, but i have some of my radar/laser detection equipment right there and wouldnt be able to use it
