Ok, so I've finally got the motor in, and I'm working on getting everything hooked up, but I've hit a few snags. The motor is out of an '04 Siverado SS, and it's going into my '99 Sierra. I'm having problems with the connections under the fuse block. There are 3 connections on the old harness, one wrapped with purple tape, one with green tape, and one unwrapped 3 pin connector. The new harness only has the purple and green connectors, and the purple one has a different connector, and more wires. Any ideas? I'm assuming I'm just going to have to get pin-outs for both motors, and swap connectors and pins around until they match. Anybody had to do this before?

the fuse block for 99-02 trucks is different than the 03-06 models.
schematically different pinouts and physically different.
youll have to repin your fuse block connector with the new wiring.
upgrading to the 03-06 fuse block will complicate your mission, as
the interior pinout for the 99-02 isnt as complete as the 03-06.
especially the v6 version as it uses the older black vortec computer.
