Long time "lurker" picking up useful information and technical advice - wearing out the search capabilites of this great site ... just wanted to drop everyone a note to say we are very close to finishing a conversion on a 1982 Chevy SWB with a '00 Camaro LS1 / 4L60E combination.

Lots of pictures (at Photobucket) and creative solutions are forthcoming ... hope to contribute something back to everyone on the board that helped - without really knowing it (heh, heh).

Special thanks to the whole Team at Nelson Performance (and Alan) ... for the wiring harness, programming and other important technical advice.

    Thanks again - Scott.

Welcome We needed another OOBS truck conversion. Those things are getting to be as popular as the OBS conversions on here!
See my truck data in the "My Garage" section here... http://www.ls1truck.com/forums/my-ga...tml#post191709

Alright ... alright ... trying to get some folders organized that will make sense to everyone - but here is a link to what I have posted so far at Photobucket.

For this board - everyone will want to check out the LS1 Conversion Folder for the '82 Chevy SWB. Still working to get the connection to the Autometer Speedo working properly and then it is done.

Too many projects and not enough time ... sounds familiar to everyone I am sure. Give me a couple of days over the weekend and I can get the rest of the pictures loaded.

    Enjoy ... !!
