I have not done a 4x4 swap but the 4x2 is a bolt in affair. My recommendation for bolting the engine into your truck would be to buy the steel motor mount adapters and have tabs welded to it after you drop the engine in the truck and bolt it all together to the transmission. I believe that the factory V8 cups should bolt right in the adapter plates but am not 100% sure on the 4x4s. If you do it that way you will have great success. I think one of the guys on Ebay sells an adapter plate that comes with tabs that you can weld on it to get the exact engine placement that you need.
