Actually I did get a second opinion and I looked under there myself. It seems that if I put the pan on, then the Y pipe will be touching it. The second guy said I would loose all of the cooling benifits of having the fins and bigger pan if the pan is touching t the exhaust.
Made sense to me. Maybe when I get my LTs and ORY pipe it will fit better.
