Smoke from where? Around the wires? Its probaly running down on to your exhaust manifold but smoke from the oil in the boot proably not unless you have a loose connection and its arching with oil around it.

Oil leaking into a spark plug boot? How is that possible? Replace your valve cover seals if they're leaking. Are you sure it's not oil blowing up the porcelain from the cylinder? May be time to replace a spark plug.

I guess you'll be replacing the seal, huh. At least it was something simple.
