Just tuned a project car we finished recently. 408, Powerglide with transbrake, Neil Chance converter,STS with T-70, my FMIC, twin intank Walbros, 60lb inj.
Dyno wouldnt load very well and we couldnt run the 10psi we were planning. Car made 577/535 at 7psi.
On the street, it will not hook at almost any speed. We tried even from low rpms, but it was no use. It was just instant sideways. Suspension and tires are on the agenda.

get rid of that cam, get some 72cc heads and we will throw a system together
Really Greg, that thing is useless on the street with street tires. Kindof like Allens truck was; a bunch of useless horsepower.

That is insane. Sounds like you need to spend some change and get some suction to the road.
