Run the same pressure as the fuel system. I will run the 2000+ Corvette fuel filter that has the built in regulator at 58 lbs that way it's consistant with my system. The trucks seem to run low on pressure at idle but boosts the pressure up under performance mode. With the stand-alone system you can do anything to your truck you want without worrying about running out of fuel for the juice.

With a fuel pressure safety switch installed in the stand-alone system all you have to worry about it too much bottle pressure or running low on nitrous. Too much, lean, too little, rich. I'd suggest getting an electronic bottle gage if you can afford one. My bottle is in the bed of the truck and I don't have time to get out and check the pressure. On a hot day I've seen 1300 lbs of pressure on the gage! I think you're only supposed to spray between 900-1050 PSI. Tune it for 1050 and let it be fat on gas should it run a little lower. BTW, Dynotunenitrous.com has a bottle heater with a FPSS for about $100.

My dad always say "he who listen advices live longer"

I'm going with the seprate system and tell you so step by step.

BTW, I' buy today the in line walbro for FI veicles that click on 60PSI that for real push around 53-55 most.

For the filter Can I use any filter for FI engine, like the the normal in the trucks, or the ones that just plug with clips? They also use a pressure around 50+ PSI?

Yeah, that kind of filter is fine. That is what the Corvette filter is, it clicks on. When you get the new inline pump, hook a FP gage to it and see how much pressure it puts out without a regulator. You may find yourself needing a regulator or the corvette return style filter(much less expensive).

You can always run a dual intank setup with a relay for activation

That last one sounded really nice!!!

Cause I was checking the place to fit a 5Glns plastic tank under the Truck, but as I always use racing Das for Racing and NOS use, I can set from the same OEM tank....!!!!!!

Any Ideas on how to this and Pros and cons?

Running race gas through an engine with less the 11:1 compression is just pissing money down a hole. You only need it for the high compression built during events like extreme boost levels with some kind of forced induction or nitrous blasts. The rest of the times you wouldn't notice any difference in your times versus pump gas. l've seen a lot of guys pissing and moaning about paying $10 a gallon for race fuel and thier times weren't any better than running on the regular pump unleaded.

    Reasheart,

$2.5 the gallon here the 110 oct Gas

$2.18 the Gallon the 92 oct (that really is about 89)

$1.48 the Galon of Regular 88 oct (that really is about 85)

So in that matter I feel like I.m not throwing at all my money. mostly on daily driving issues I mix some race and "92" oct gas.

For Racing only 110oct (imported that's why I thrust Oct numbers)

My Truck is Build on 9.4:1 Static CR.

About taking a line from the OEM Tank, there's some cons, pros?

Is that 110 octane aircraft fuel? Aircraft fuel is rated differently and it contains some additives to introduce oxygen into the fuel mix for higher altitudes. The true R+M/2 formula we use here in the states isn't used for av-fuel.

I don't see why you can't tap into the stock tank for fuel but I don't know about tapping into the stock fuel pump to feed fuel for both pumps unless you put a boost-a-pump or boost the voltage up to a solid 16v at the pump. That would give you more volume for the in-tank pump.

    Redheart,

I'll Go for the separate platstic 5glns then!!!

No AV Gas...here is leaded and cost $6.00 per galon and yeap, it has diferent quimicalls to induce oxigen at higher altirudes, but as uses in Boxer engines like the Cesnas and Robison Helicopters, the roof of those air crafts is not that high!!!!!!!!!& #33;!

There's a Avition mecanic around here I think.

Here the Company has have a 98 Cessna SkyHawk and a 2001 Robinson R44 Helicopter.

So I guess putting AV Gas 100/130 will induce more heat to the combustion chamber maybe!!!!!! or something like that!!!?????

We use here VP Racing fuel that a friend brings from who know where!!!!!!!????? and don't care for the price.

I think I'm going for the 3 gallon aluminum tank from www.summitracing.com. They have a blue tank on sale for just at $100. I'll pay the little extra for the raw aluminum tank.
