    To be sure you have the convertor in all the way before installing the transmission, measure the distance from the face of the flywheel/flexplate to the engine block and then measure the distance from the bellhousing to the convertor bolts. The transmission measurement should be greater by at least 1/8".

    On a 4L60E the TC will go back 3 "clicks" and it should sit back about 1/2-3/4 from the front of the TC to the front of the bell housing. Also there are 3 TC bolts, and 2 different types Alan heads, or 15 mm. If you have the Alan heads, replace them with 15 mm
    2004 Chevy/Regency RST, 6.0L LQ4, custom built NV MG-5 tranny by local Tranny Guru, Hurst Shifter, K&N FIPK, stock Regnecy Exhaust, 3.73 gears w/ Eaton Locker, and the Magnacharger huffer topping it off w/ stock pulley... for now
