Alton will be there. I'll be armchair cheering. I like that the beer is 20 feet away and there are no lines at the bathrooms. I drive to the track sometimes and hit the vendors row if I need a new hat or something and leave before or during the race. I like qualifying days best of all but passed on this year's qualifying day since they now hold the truck race immediately after qualifying.

went to qualifying and amazingly 3 track records were recorded during it! i didnt watch busch qualifying, just went to the venders row during that. the truck race was crazy 4 or 5 wrecks, 3 being in the same spot going into turn 1! they r fun to watch, and plenty poerful. i thought for the most part it was time and money well spent, but the cup race beats it simply cuz the names r more familiar and its longer.
sadly ill have to narrow my winners down to one of two people. kurt busch(hate him but he ran good), or tony stewart(ran good the last time at texas, just couldnt finish it off)

we just got back to my friends house from the busch race so it's not far at all...kevin won but ran outta gas in turn 4 so wasnt able to do a fly by burnout.....

going back to the track where another friend has his camper in the camp ground here shortly...letting the traffic clear out first...came back to get some bbq meat we had thawing out....

we are parking right in front of gate 3 ....

Yeah, I watched the race and Kevin said they were out of fuel just as he passed the finish line. He's the luckiest SOB on the face of the planet.
