bearings, i always get mine from the machine shop that does my engine work. Oversize bearings are a little tougher to find. Luckily the rod bearings are standard small block bearings and are available world wide. I like the new bearings that are coated like those available from Calico.

My Resident Tech mics every bearing and goes through about 5 to 10 sets just to get perfectly matched bearings.
He had a 525 rwhp naturally aspirated 400sb that he drove daily for ten years.
