Thread: Took the TT Truck to the track...

    The rear has a true trak locker with stock gears. I pulled a 1.8sec 60' with the whipple on a stock stall but 2.2 with the turbo and 3000 stall. Thats ok it mades up for it when the turbos kick in. lol

    Turbos are the only way to go... I think so anyway The though the whipple was fast but the turbo is scary fast.

    Been there, done that&#33; It&#39;s not got me worried though. I will do it right next time. No more pieced together systems. I didn&#39;t realize that when you buy a complete system that they don&#39;t sell you everything you really need to run safely. Mine needed a bottle heater, fuel pressure safety switch, bottle gauge, RPM window switch and a few more little odds and ends. Now I find out that I need a fuel pump just for the Nitrous feed because the Walbro pump will only supply enough fuel for about 550 HP. If the engine is already making 450 at the crank, that only leaves enough fuel supply for a 100 shot and that&#39;s pushing it.
