Thanks bud8fan, those are awsome numbers for that weight. How much heavier are the older body styles?

i have heard that the older z71's are 150-200 heavier than the newer models....

Thanks guys, the truck is running awesome!! It feels very strong for 5psi.
They say a truck runs damn good just before it's going to blow, lol.

I'm gonna get some slicks on it next time. I try launching at 5psi, but around 3.5psi it starts to turns the tires over, then if I push it real hard, it'll burn out throw first gear.
This is still on 3.42's, I think 3.37's or 4.10's are coming soon.

Hopefully I'm not being too optimistic, but I think next time out with slicks , the Av will run 13.4, then on a cold day, and some 4.10's, maybe just maybe, 12.99's, hahahha.

I was thinking 10psi for 12's, but maybe 8psi, gears, cold weather, slicks will get me there.

later,
allen

Thanks guys, I'm going to keep it at 5psi as long as possible.

Anyone know where I can get some 16" diameter, 30" (or near) slicks or drag radials?

thanks,

allen
