GOt ya, I've always been told that the LS1's had bigger combustion chambers of course, therefore applying those to 5.3's would lower the compression. Any idea what the compression would be with my setup? That of which being 5.3 with ls1 heads and 0.010 deck
2000scsb silverado, '02 5.3L with Comp Cams custom ground LS1 cam 222/224 112lsa +2deg. 581/581 , '01 LS1 heads decked 0.010" ported, Comp beehive valvesprings, pushrods, shims, pace setter longtubes, no cats, Nelson tuned. AuburnGear Pro series LSD, 4L60E built with 2k rpm stall, corvette servos and raybestos clutches..... Fun enough...... for now
