Hey there, LT1 swap eh? should be cool, did you get the computer and harness? keep us updated, I've got an 87 shorty with the 5.0 tbi, thinking about an LT4 swap, a guys got one for sale in my area, he wants me to make an offer, I hate that cause I know my offers not going to be enough, you never know though.

Welcome. I did the 93 LT1 Corvette swap into a 92 c1500. The LT1 lived such a short life and not many parts are available for them compared to what is available for the LS1x. The LT1s make some mean power though. After doing the LT1 I really like the LSx swap.

yeah i have the whole swap, ive already taken off the fan drive, cleaned her up, and painted her. now all i need is some sensors that are damaged, harness from superior harness, hook up the transmission cooler lines to the radiator and the engine cooler lines to the transmission cooler. oh btw, has someone made something so notching the frame is not necessary? im thinking if i make a bracket with an idler pulley closer to the motor where the ac was then i wouldnt have to notch it.
