Thread: Duramax crew cab running 11.5's

    Went to Mid Michigan Motorplex in Stanton, MI on 9-11-06 in search of some 11.5's. The truck ran a 11.59, 11.58, 11.57 & 11.53 with mph between 117.21 and 118.01. My best pass was 11.53@117.61 mph in the 1/4 and 7.38@95.21 in the 1/8 with a 1.67 sixty foot time on 285x75x16 BFG AT's.

    It's fun to be able to drive to the track and run 11.5's on just diesel fuel (no nitrous, water/meth or propane) and then drive home. This truck would be a handful for 99% of the cars on the street unless their running around on slicks.

    I guess I'm done dragracing for the season since I need a roll bar to go any faster and I don't want to put one in the pulling/racing/street truck just yet..

    Old Truck: '04 Chevy crew cab stroked/bored 6.0 to 408ci. forged internals, patriot 68cc stage 3 heads (11.1:1cr), comp 244/246 .600 115lsa cam, 3000 yank tc, built 4L60E, walbro 255, 60# mototron injectors, pacesetter lt's 4" single no-cat exhaust

    best time 12.93 1/4 mi @ 103 in the turbo truck.

    shit man.. my adrenaline was pupming when i cleked the link. i couldnt wait to see it. and it didnt work. i was let down... ..get that thing working . i want to see that run. 12 sec. is fast to me. i can imagine 11.5 runs&#33;&#33;
