Just found this site. looking to talk with people that have similar goals. my truck is an 02 5 speed 4.8 that ran a pitiful 16.7 at 83 stock, and spun the right rear tire the length of the track. since then i have added a gibson super truck exhaust, a hypertech programmer, an open k&n filter, a Hurst short throw shifter, and gave the truck a 3/4 drop. the truck made 242 rwhp and 258rwtq on the dyno on wednesday. have not run it yet since those parts were added. ahter my dyno run i orderd a comp cams camshaft, gibson shortys, asp pulleys, and a complete tune for the cam. kinda curious what numbers i can expect afterwards. they will install these goodies this tuesday. thanx to a new local busness Vengeance Racing and Developement. so if any of you guys are around the north ga area. they specialize in all Gen III engine performance. i have enclosed a pic of my truck.
